Hey there, story lovers!

I’m Jess Bicknell, the proud owner and founder of Owl Mountain Press, and I have been spinning stories since I could talk! (Seriously, my mom used to write them down for me before I could hold a pencil!) Crafting worlds, creating characters, and sharing stories has always been my passion.

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to turn that passion into a career. I have experience running not one but TWO publishing companies, and I’ve worked with some amazing publications like USA Today/Gannett, The 11th Hour, and the Houston Home Journal. Plus, I led the Social Media and Publishing department at Dynamic BDC. Oh, and I’ve even been published a few times myself!
